There is more going on here than we all know.

LSU hopefully blinks because I am not sure putting the SEC Commissioner on the stand for 3 hours was wise.

LSU may have to pay penance of some sort whether it is a Lane suspension or fine. Whatever the SEC has, they think it is enough for severe consequences.

I hope it doesn't come to expulsion. The SEC is better with LSU than without and LSU is crazy to think they can go independent. What happens when Lane leaves (and he will)? LSU is a big brand but they are no Notre Dame.

So they dont exist...because if they youd drop the hammer instead of trying to hide it. The longer this goes on the worse it gets for the SEC so if they had the goods then why not lay the hammer out?

Some people feel Texas was a terrible fit for the SEC.

LSU was looking at going independen

can you imagine LSU playing the bottom of the barrel Big 12, Big 10, and ACC teams and lay claim to a CFP spot like Notre Dame does?

What is detrimental about LSU's actions that others have not done? Arguably chambliss is worse because the judge was an Ole Miss alum.

Kinda hope LSU wins the NC out of spite.

Texas is a miserable fit for the SEC. You just don't know it yet.

When a founding member actions are detrimental to the league, what do you do then ?
Fine the hell out of them, penalize them, make their Administration issue a public apology.

The SEC is serious; they've pushed this thing entirely too far IMO. So far that the freaking conference is about to cast votes to shitcan a founding member school, WTF?

LSU has to corral Kiffin, issue an apology and renew their vows as a member of this conference to operate and adhere to the SEC rules & regulations.
