Derek Barnett leads the SEC in sacks for the decade in only 3 seasons and can’t quite crack DiddleDawg’s 3rd team lol

No way in heaven, earth, or hell is Joe Burrow better than Cam Newton. The guy could score at will, either by throwing, rushing, or receiving.

Yep. Immediately disqualifies the entire list. I mean, what a joke.

No one is taking Burrow over Cam. Burrow was good for 1 year and sucked last year. Cam won a NC at JC and then another at Auburn (Burrow has yet to win one). Burrow didn't look unbeatable against any good defense he played. Cam was on the field goofing off and still making the plays. Had Tua not got hurt he wouldn't have got the Heisman or even been 1st team all sec for 2019. Looking at him as a whole Tebow would be a better choice too.

This defense is a whole new level of scary.

At first I was like good luck doing anything in the middle with White and Smith roaming but then I realized with that D-Line, not much would even reach them

I wouldn't choose Burrow over Cam, but that is your opinion. But how is the all-time leader in SEC scoring 3rd team for kickers? Blankenship is no where close to Carlson is in scoring and who is Cole Tracy?

Sad that A&M wasnt in the SEC when Von Miller played. That defense is already stacked but adding him to the mix would just be ridiculous.

The posters arguing with the OP's list do realize it was a poll right? Of course there is bias, he can't control who voted, idiots.

I was thinking the same thing. It’s a fan vote.

Yes, it’s west team heavy but then again, the west dominated. It’s not a terrible list. I really thought it was going to be nothing but LSU and Bama players.

He wouldn't have won, but I'm shocked Ryan Mallett didn't get a single vote at QB.

David Rickey ..... why the arbitrary 50 minimum returns?

Seems to penalize one or two year guys who have good defenses who don't give up many scores.

If a team only allows 21 pts per game for instance, that's three opportunities for KO returns and let's say half of those are touchbacks our out of the endzone.

So said KOR man would only have 18 chances to return a KO in a season.

You're also going back to Berry when there was no automatic touchback and take the ball out to the 25 to avoid injury on a fair catch.

So many variables.

Honestly, Deebo Samuel was the most dynamic KOR specialist we have seen in years. His rate of return and TD:Return ratio was off the charts and he managed to break SEC records in a shorter amount of time with fewer opportunities.

Ace Sanders, same thing. He had more punts returned for TDs than the Honey Badger (whom I asked to be added to the list knowing what would happen with the LSU fans) .... but he got very little consideration.

It's an LSU site, it is what it is. Results are to be expected for the most part. Diddly did an admirable job, took the initiative and saw it through time results.

Well done Diddly.
