You can laugh but it's true.
Jim Mackenzie, who had been on Frank Broyles' staff prior to being hired at Oklahoma, made some changes to OU uniforms at the time that reflected the Razorback design.
OU didn't steal the idea. Mackenzie brought it to Oklahoma with him.
Unfortunately, Mackenzie died after coaching one year at OU. But OU kept the design.
