Sark is a good OC but I don't know if he's a great HC.
He is great when he is riding Saban’s coattails and working in that culture
Take Saban out of the equation and he reverts back to 7 win sark. None of this should be a surprise to anyone,

That was clear to a lot of us last season. He couldn’t win with the easiest schedule in the sec, a team full of nfl draft picks, 3rd year starter at qb, and veteran ol. It’s actually comical that our fans thought this year would somehow be better
In their defense, most of the sports media fell for it as well

Hey. But you have a manning representing your team. That’s important.

Sark in the Dark needs to be gone. HE can take his experiment with him.

This is true. UGA is probably only 18 points better than Texas. That’s still 2 TDs and a field goal better than Texas. That’s good enough.

The only touchdown they scored. They only moved the ball 17 yards.
They were given a short field on an interception, and then they got a passing interference penalty

Buckle up buckaroo because we have at least one more year of this bullshite and most of our fans will once again drink the Kool-Aid. Just like the last 2 years.
Damn! If you fire Sark next year, we’ll have to go through this “is Kiffin staying or leaving?” thing again!

No thank you. The last thing we need is another guy who’s never won anything but gets a lot of media hype. That ship has sailed.
At least he is an sec guy. We hired a soft west coast coach who averaged 7 wins a year then stupidly expected him to be something he isn’t

Sark is just another Franklin. A game or two better, maybe. But he is never going to win against the big boys when he needs to.

1-8 in top 5 matchups. With all that talent. Sark wins when he has a talent advantage, but when it's equal, he can't coach his way out of a paper bag. Other coaches make adjustments and game plan, while we always have excuses. Dude sucks.

The problem is that the only sure fire winners out, there are a locked firmly into place so there’s not a lot out there to pick from.
We just have to try and find the next cignetti.
The only thing I know for sure is that it’s not sark

Bitch I’ve been calling out this fraud since last year. I knew kirby would roll. I tried to warn our fans. Not my fault they don’t listen
Nothing happened last night that surprised me. I was positive it would go exactly as it did. It was easy money. The one positive with sark is that betting against texas in these games is about as sure a thing that exists in sports betting.

Franklin is a good comparison. the difference between Sark and the good coaches like Smart, Day, Saban, etc is discipline and the attention to detail. Sark is a play caller/designer. He was good with Saban because Saban managed the team and sark called plays only.
This isn’t going to magically change either

Everyone is looking for that.
Hard to really know what’s going on with Sark. He has made the playoffs twice.
If he hadn’t tied the wagon to Manning, this may be a very different year.
I don’t think it’s quite time to fire him yet, but, I suppose if he leaves, it’s not the end of the world either.
What is clear is that gone are the days that Texas could beat up on weak big12 teams, lose to OU, and still play for big prizes.

I don’t know if they were really going to snap the 2nd one, who knows.
Kirbs said they were not going to snap it on the 2nd 4th down. Texas jumped though.

I don't follow Texas football, so I don't know any of the details, but why would you want to fire a coach who made the playoffs + finished in the top 5 in back to back years? If you believed the preseason #1 and heisman shoe-in hype that's on you. Everybody knows you don't turn over your entire OL without MAJOR hiccups on offense (something the sports media ignored for views).
As an A&M fan, I'd love to see you all fire him aa I think there's an 80-90% chance you end up with somebody worse.

You took Kirby’s giant schlong and you liked it. What are you going to do when Aggie fricks you up?

If you’ve read my responses, you know I’m not nearly as reactionary as many of the “Texas” fans here. I’ve said many times Sark is fairly unlucky to not have made a national title appearance in ‘23 or ‘24. The physical aspects of his offense are predicated on outside zone with big one cut backs. Well that room has been decimated for years now in off-season practices. We rode Tre Wisner until the wheels fell off last season, but dudes a 4.6 type back at 190lbs. Sark isn’t perfect, but he’s good enough. I think he was way too loyal to some aspects of the roster this off-season. It was time to clean house in the RB room, but he decided to bet on our current guys getting healthy. They’re all still running with check engine lights. He trusted in the development of his offensive line with no backup portal bodies. He trusted in the development of Ryan Wingo who is not a feature WR1. Though when you allocate almost all your resources towards HS recruiting and roster retention, what’s the alternative? You got to live with misevaluations. You can’t get in the habit of running guys off for portal bodies consistently, that’s not sustainable either.
