Tell you what. Show me where I said Texas only has 4. Then show me where the other poster said only the AP/Coaches poll count. Maybe you should bow out of the thread and save yourself some time and keep yourself from feeling foolish?

There are no “official” titles as there isnt a single governing body that regulates the sport and awards the championships. All you have are polls and invitational tournaments. UGA only claims consensus championships (majority of polls) and therefore claims 4.

Pretty stupid that Texas is considered this top 5 blue blood program because of one dominant stretch in the 60s. Nobody does less with more. Maybe A&M but it's debatable.
