Yeah, we bought him out of the last 3 rounds of the draft.
We are just better at developing guys I guess. Wease will be our #2 receiver this year, he's the perfect complement to Burden.
Missouri always had big donors waiting in the wings but they are finicky. They have whole heartedly jumped on board this strategy Drink has come up with.
I expect it will become the norm in college football as we go on.
If you're gonna pay for players then pay for guys you know are proven college stars.
An example would be Mekhi Wingo from LSU. Missouri wouldn't have let him go to the draft we would've paid him a few hundred K to stay his senior year instead.

Except we recruit elite in high school and Mizzou doesn’t. So we will always have better talent.
