Sounds like a good idea. Rivalries have to start from something so why not?!
I have a feeling that Mizzou and Arky will be "#1 Rivals" though - just because of proximity.
Only team I was raised to hate is Texas... LSU has been growing on me but Mizzou isn't shite to me.

Hey cool... We got the same name... Let's be buddies.
I don't know if anyone noticed, but there are three tiger teams. How about a tiger trophy thingy.
Or, how 'bout we quit forcing rivalries. Our last real rivalry started during the civil war when a bunch of thugs crossed the border and killed innocent farmers. We returned the favor by burning Lawrence Kansas to the ground.
THAT's a frickin' rivalry. Having the same name is the basis for a 3rd grade relationship.

+1000
I've even taught this hate to my children - when they see a Texas logo, they even refer to them as the shorthorns.

Maybe USCe and Georgia should play for a trophy instead of Mizzou and USCe, if they don't already.
we don't do trophies. UGA and GT play for the governor's cup but no one even knows about it
we have too many rivalries to be keeping track of mementos like the rest of those gay rivalries up nawth

In reality, we have 3 rivals.
First and foremost, those NERDS on North Avenue.
Secondly the gayturds.
Last, but definitely not least, The Deep South's Oldest Rivalry with Auburn. This one is probably my favorite to attend as it is generally somewhat cordial and a very close rivalry.
People say "Oh we have blah, blah, blah with Tennessee/USCe/Clemson...", well they can suck it. I stick with the 3 traditional rivalries.

UGA always used to have more depth than USCe.
Not the case this year. And it gives Lattimore more time to heal.

Now who's high or trolling?
How is Lattimore going to change the outcome of the game? You had him at full strength for the game last year correct? It took 21 points directly off of 3 turnovers and a fake punt to win last year. You lose Ingram and Jeffrey not to mention some other solid talent? Its going to be close at best for you.

Can anyone say cock tease?

I think a forced rivalry based on the towns' name is pretty weak. But one interesting piece of trivia, the submarine USS Columbia is named after our town (along with a town in Illinois). I believe the sub's crest has a gamecock and tiger on it. So I guess that's kind of cool.

Do you remember who our QB was then? Shaw is light years ahead of Garcia and is getting better.
Sorry but the Georgia game doesn't scare me all that much.

Shaw is definitely a better QB but I'd say he's only marginally better than Garcia in this matchup. I actually think Garcia's mobility helped you in the UGA games that I recall. He had his terrible moments over the season but not many that I recall during the UGA games. (Only 1 INT that I recall from last year?) Personally I could give a shite whether you're scared or not. I hope your coaching staff is that "cocky" this year too. Nothing like watchin' SOS when he's angry.
What I want to know is the over under on how long you cry after you lose.

Shaw is actually more mobile than Garcia, but his accuracy and touch leave a lot to be desired.

Shaw is more accurate on a more consistent basis. And he is a faster runner, however Shaw isn't as bulky as Garcia and when he gets crushed where Garcia would get right up Shaw has to be taken out of the game.
Garcia was 2-1 vs UGA as a starter and not too far off from being 3-0. Unlike Garcia, Shaw actually learns from his mistakes and gets better with experience.
