But if wapo publishes anything false about her, I hope she burns them to the ground.

quote:

“I’ve hired the best defamation law firm in the country and I will sue the Washington Post if they publish a false story about me,” Mulkey said. “Not many people are in a position to hold these kinds of journalists accountable, but I am. And I’ll do it.”

No matter how you think about sports, other teams and all that, wapo are the worst dirt bags in the country. They would deserve it.

She sounds more terrified of what’s coming than mad.

Regardless of what you may think of LSU, the guy who wrote the piece is a USCe graduate and has been harassing her for two years now.

Not surprised SovietNAthens supports the WAPO.

I saw it. She looked more scared that the article was coming out than angry.
She is probably angry too since her former players have spilled the dirt on her. Can’t wait to see what all the indignation is about. It must be really juicy

Maybe someone can clear this up, but why would she hire a law firm before the article even comes out? What if the article isn’t a false story? Then she will have paid a non-refundable retainer for nothing…?

she’s getting ready to fight her forthcoming termination with cause imo.

I concur. Media’s track record as a whole is pretty poor and it is more interested in being FIRST than accurate.

Hope she holds their feet to the fire.

I’m pretty sure she knows the premise of the article after speaking with players and coaches that have been contacted, as well as the questions sent in

She can afford it. Always have legal on staff. Hell, even I do that and I don't make anywhere close to what she does.

Retainers are non-refundable. I probably didn’t need to specify that. I assume hiring a lawyer before something’s decided on involves a retainer.

I was genuinely asking, douche bag.
