Great win. Cal had to leave UK to get his team to the Sweet 16! LOL! Geaux Hawgs.

Just saying……one of the best of his career

This team was dead an buried. Lost its best two players.

To come back from that…if THaT is it coaching, I don’t know what is.

A coach is more than x and o

That guy believed in those kids and, in turn, they began to believe in themselves.

Everyone on this board did until they turned into Cal apologists.

The reality is it was best for all parities but there will absolutely be folks claiming Kentucky was the problem.

Truly one of those rare times where everyone wins. People will naturally try to claim victory though.

He didn't lose his mojo. He got fat, lazy, and entitled.

And having to deal with too much negativity from the fans about his players and him. He’s better off away from that crap. His wife was crying after the from happiness for a change.

Ellen didn’t want to leave Lexington, had a lot of friends here.

But pretending any coach at a credible basketball program wouldn’t get heat not getting out of the first weekend (hell, not even winning the first game) for 5 seasons in a row with Top 3 recruiting class talent is just you showing your bias.

I’ve never seen a coach yell and complain every second of every game as much as him. Crying Cal would be a fitting name for him.

No surprise an LSU fan doesn't know what coaching is.

That’s awesome for coach cal. Dude took so much shite the last few years, he’s showing everyone he can still do it at a high level.

I’ll say this in all honesty, I think Cal just needed a change of scenery and Arkansas was a good place to land. He seems rejuvenated and having fun.

15 years is a long time coaching at one school.

Agree. You are happy, we are happy. Why can't we all just get along?

I’m cool with Cal. However, as Arkansas-Kentucky are basketball rivals anyway, screw Kentucky!

So many great coaches in this conference. Many with a high bar.

Will be interesting to see where they all rank vs expectations after the tournament.

Oates and Pearl with the most to prove?
