This is actually a good take but you took it too far in the subsequent posts.
It’s a beautiful golf course and a great event. I’ve been a few times and would love to go back. But people fawn over it like it’s some sacred hallowed ground, like the air is different there. At the end of the day it is a golf tournament at an extremely well maintained golf course. There are tons of those out there. However, as another poster pointed out, other big tournaments (sans the players) aren’t held at the same course each year, so people don’t treat them the same way. Or at least they don’t have the opportunity to obsess over them in the same way.

This season would be a resounding success if we went 7-5 and split those games. I mean what is our realistic ceiling? 8 games? 9 if we get every single break imaginable?
