Arkansas is loaded with natural beauty. Southern MO shares some of this as well...I know all the folks that claim their states have the beach or what not may not agree, but some of the lakes and float streams in southern MO and Northern ARK are a thing of beauty and would encourage all to explore. Buffalo River is a treasure, same for the Current in MO.

Eureka Springs, AR is a nice place in which to spend two nights in a B&B.

My wife’s family as well as half mine is buried in Arkansas. Deep roots. But my Grandfather got out before he died and came to Mississippi. Street in Little Rock named after my great great grandfather. Then he died.

Little Rock not the same town as it was in 1915. Little bit rougher.

I enjoy the floating rivers of the Ozarks more than most rivers I've fished in Colorado. Clear water, warm enough to swim, and close up bluffs, surrounded by wilderness.

The Spring River in Arkansas is secretly a hedonistic shitshow for Spring Break and 4th of July. T and A and cold cold clear waters.

The uppper Buffalo is stunning.

I love Conway and the surrounding area. If you like outdoor activities, Arkansas is a great place to live!

I also need to add, Toad Suck Bucks makes the best steaks I’ve had in the U.S.

The campus and downtown Fayetteville are lovely. Very underrated, like most of NWA.

Say something nice? No need, as long as a single razorback fan has the breath of life in him, rest assured that hog horn will be blowing.

Most areas north/west of I-30 and I-40 are nice. Cheap place to live. Not a lot of people for being a relatively large state geographically. I’m surprised it hasn’t grown more. Little Rock isn’t too bad. It’s basically a microcosm of Arkansas. Pretty on the north/west side and ugly on the south/east side. It’s generally as simple as knowing what side of the interstate to be on.

It doesn’t get any more Arkansas than Newton County. If you genuinely want a deeply rural but beautiful place on earth it’s a good spot.

We don’t talk about the debauchery that is the spring river. We try to keep that under the radar.
