Just split them, then beat the champ in the playoffs. What are you worried about?
I don’t think Jimbo will be what you think he is on the field at A&M btw. He’ll get some players y’all might have otherwise snagged from Texas though

I still can't believe that they hired Ed orgeron. Firing Les Miles, the statistically best coach in their entire history was a bold move. Not necessarily a bad move if you have a better replacement ready to go. But firing him for Ed orgeron? Possibly the dumbest coaching change ever

Not sure of the bears numbers, but if Saban were to go 9-3 (some losses ugly) for the next 3 years with 3 losses to auburn would he not still statistically be the (top 2) best coach in your history. More about a trend than averaging out a 12 year stretch.
But yes, the resulting hire was a head scratcher
