Believe it? We know it to be true. This was a clusterfrick of epic proportions.

F King is the true nemesis of LSU football.

A decade is a bit much but we won’t be good for a while. Current administration is a walking tragedy.
Hopefully we can turn shite around in 5 years or so, a terrible LSU is not good for the conference IMO.

More believable time line, with the right hire's, 2 to 3 years. Its just hard for me to get my head wrapped around how bad and how dysfunctional LSU has gotten in such a short period of time.

I think Alleva deliberately sabotaged the LSU football program because he was pissed off for being over ruled when he tried to fire Miles the first time.
Not even joking.

The problems go higher than Alleva.
I still agree with you, though.

I still can't believe that they hired Ed orgeron. Firing Les Miles, the statistically best coach in their entire history was a bold move. Not necessarily a bad move if you have a better replacement ready to go. But firing him for Ed orgeron? Possibly the dumbest coaching change ever
Les Miles was a very exciting coach early in his career. We won a bunch of nail biters, had trick plays and miracle plays.
After the Periloux, Hatch, Lee fiasco he became very gun shy with QB play. Mettenberger was the last slinger we had. Everyone else has been a manager or worse. He became very stubborn in his play calling, refusing to evolve the offense.
Statistically yes he won more, but the 1st 3 years were based on Saban recruits. Saban would have been our best coach, but he had mush to work with his 1st year.
Coach O may be a terrible hire or a mediocre one. Next year will provide more evidence since its hard to judge a 1st year coach.
Firing Sumlin to hire Jimbo seems like a push when the defense was the problem for AtM. I would have loved for LSU to have offered Sumlin a job as the OC.
I would not be surprised if LSU beat Georgia, Miami or Alabama next year while also losing to Ole Miss, Arkansas or aTm. I expect next season to be very aggravating for fans.

Finally a post from a Bama fan that I can fully agree with! One day we will fire Alleva, O will be gone, F King Alexander will be somewhere out of Louisiana screaming at the sky with Hillary, and we will be back on top of the college Football and Baseball world!
One day, my friend. One day.
One day, my friend. One day.

Dear God don’t get me started on that hypocritical brain dead idiot. He actually threatened to end the LSU football program, even though LSU’s football program is completely self sufficient. He is a complete and total idiot of epic proportions.

LSU is still LSU and nobody can keep them down for long. Hell even with all this LSU still won 9 games and should have beat ND and win 10. All the doom and gloom is over exaggerated. The state of Louisiana spits out top ten talent yearly and LSU gets 85% of that talent. Nobody, not even Joseph Alleva, Edward Orgeron, or F King can keep LSU down long.
