The refs had nothing to do with us shooting 21% from 3, getting our arse kicked on the boards and woeful defense as usual.
They shot 30 FT and we shot 26. Don’t be a pussy.
Knox, Pringle and Wagner being total no shows has nothing to do with refs.

It's a Mike Anderson team.

Also, anybody who actually watched that game and is BEING OBJECTIVE could tell you that there was a window of about 39 seconds in the game where the refs called it fairly against Kentucky. In those 39 seconds half their team got technical fouls.
The mental gymnastics here are precious.

Really it can be boiled down to one thing. Lack of rebounding. Most everything else was pretty even except for our sudden inability to hit a 3. They missed just as many free throws as we did.
No idea why Pringle plays. He hasn't done shite all year.

It doesn't look much different than an Anderson team, honestly. The only real difference is better talent. Neither coach runs any sort of actual offense. Which means you can kick their arse by playing zone against them. I don't know why more teams don't play zone defense against us.

Pope isn't on the hot seat. He will still be the coach next year.
Tell me, how would your coach handle that? If your best players were injured and out for the rest of the season...would you all still be winning? Or using it as an excuse for losing games?
We've hit some bad luck, and yet we keep finding ways to win.
Nice white-out attempt for us tonight. Hope you enjoyed your Super Bowl game.

Cal ran a six man rotation last year and made it just as far in the tournament as Kentucky did. Not much difference there.

As bad as it seems, I'm actually happy with only a 10 point deficit at the half. This game could have gotten out of reach easily.

UTs bball arena is strangely very quiet.

We have one of the most efficient offenses in the country and we generally kill the zone.
You’re wrong about that.
We don’t rebound, play defense or hit FTs lately and that is killing us.

Game had little to do with the refs. They tried to keep us in the game. Our defense and contribution from Pringle, Knox and Wagner is that bad. GG Kentucky. Series has been pretty back and forth the last 10 years. This wasn’t a huge surprise.
I don't get why Acuff didn't just try to take over that game. He passed up shots and in general passed the ball far too often IMO.

Knoxville got over five inches of snow today. There is probably not a lot of people there. Most places are shut down. I’m surprised they didn’t postpone the game.

Oklahoma is next. Followed by Tennessee.

This is because they lead the country in fast break points. No, I'm not wrong about that.

His jumper wasn't falling. He was bitching at himself about it early. He was in his own head.
