I’ll agree it has to be a league thing though. The same refs will call a non conference game different. Either conference games are way more physical or the league is pushing for games to be called a certain way.

Has to be. All i know is the UK teams of my youth would blow teams out of the gym hitting 50% of their 3s. Of course, that was back when they played defense.
