100%. Statistically.. we might be best or second best to Utrans. We did beat Aubbie all 3 games. And they beat Texas. Hell, we may be too 5 in the country, but I hope they keep us unranked. Keep a chip on our shoulder

Bama has the second most Quad 1 wins in the country at 7. Texas has 10.

Warren Nolan has Bama RPI #5 after the Auburn sweep.

it's been a few years since we've had the bullpen we have now IMO. The issue with Florida is fielding, particularly behind the plate. Hitting is definitely Up and down though I agree 100%.

There's a very real chance we don't make the tournament at all this year. We're heading into April with an RPI of 63.

You're take on LSU giving up 8 on average in conference was ridiculous.

It's not ridiculous, overcritical maybe, but not far off. Gave up 10 runs today, 9 earned. Went through 8 pitchers. Current conference ERA after 9 games at 6.10. Surrendered 59 runs in 9 games, 6.56 runs/game. Yeah, 8 runs/game is ridiculous.

I stand corrected on allowable conference losses. Yes, about 17 losses or less will get LSU into a regional.

Missing a starter this weekend, it was always going to be Johnny whole staff today and our bullpen isn’t the greatest.

LSU is giving up 5.77 in conference. Your math is pretty off actually.

My math is not off. Add in the 9 earned runs for today brings era up to 6.10. The 5.77 is after 8 games.

BTW, There is a difference between ERA and runs given per game. For instance, in the 9 games LSU has given up 59 runs, 54 of them earned. LSU is giving up 6.6 runs/gm in conference.

Bump. Back in late March some of us could see it coming.

LSU final conference stats,
ERA at 7.21
Runs allowed per conference game at 7.7

Auburn lost the series against Texas, they did win game 1 by one run before Texas changed its pitching rotation order
