I think you should provide an answer to my impossible to prove nonsense theological debate since we all seem to want to provide an answer to impossible to prove nonsense football debates.

Alabama was more dominant in the context of this season. The extent to which Alabama was able to fend off COVID was impressive and they kept it together when Saban had it.

LSU, while not as dominant in the context of the schedule they played, is the better team. They had closer games but against better competition

OK it's pretty simple. The 2020 bama team was the best to win a NC during a Covid year, playing teams with missing starters.

LSU 2019 was the best team in College football history during a normal year, playing teams at full strength.

No team will ever play 7 top 10 teams during a given season probably ever again much less beating every one of them. These are not opinions these are facts, sorry. This is a laughable argument and you know it.

Bama wasn’t full strength when LSU played ‘em last year; Tua was hobbled and both their starting ILBs were out for the season...

They both had players out like a normal season in 2019.
Not 24% of starters like in 2020.

We will never know if Bama would beat 19 LSU. But we do know 2019 LSU is the more accomplished team.

I’m not reading 5 pages of this bullshite. Will just say this again. When you go 15-0, win the Natty and beat the same number of ranked top 10 and top 5 teams my Tigers did, then come at me. Until then, STFU. This is directed to any Cane, Auburn, Nebraska, and Gumps on this board

Nobody in the world gives a frick what New Orleanian and LSU fan Les East thinks about the subject.

He has less credibility than cajunbama.

okay now all we’ve got to do is get 2019 LSU and 2020 Alabama to play one another and we’ll be able to verify this hypothesis

I assume this article has already been posted here however I've not seen this stat below yet that was Tweeted Friday by Yahoo Sports.

"The average number of starters that were out for top 25 teams that bama beat in 2020 was 24%

The average number of starters out for the 7 top ten teams that LSU beat in 2019 was 0.9%"

What gave it away that it was written by an LSU fan is what I bolded.

The fact LSU fans have to embellish on what they accomplished in 2019 by using game time rankings instead of end of year rankings highlights they know deep down it was inferior to 2020 Alabama.

It is all he has, man.

Let him have it. There are so many good LSU posters that are overlooked because of these knuckleheads that want to troll incessantly. They can't enjoy their own accomplishments for their own sake. They still feel compelled to run down anything positive from other teams, as its a threat to the good year they had.

The Bama fans that can't take the high road with them after this year's Bama NC are just as bad.

2019 was a cathartic experience for LSU. They got to watch CU do what they couldn't do in 8 tries and beat Bama and Saban down on the biggest stage. They then went on to win in T-town by 5, which was absolutely their NC. The season could have happily ended then and many would have been happy. The drop off this year (CV19 or no) bothers many more than they care to admit. COACH O went from the "one of us" hero back to the 2018 Troy loss, "did we make a mistake" hire. It eats them alive. There is zero chance they can objectively consider that 2020 Bama was a very good team.

2019 LSU is an all time great football team. 2020 Bama is the same in what will be one of the most memorable seasons of all time.

Why can't both just be great?

One thing that can't be debated.2019 LSU was an anomaly. An abnormality. Flash in the pan. There's no evidence that it will happen again any time soon.

2020 Alabama was a continuation of excellence by a program and coach on a historic run which shows no signs of letting up any time soon.

Suck on that, boy.
