I assume this article has already been posted here however I've not seen this stat below yet that was Tweeted Friday by Yahoo Sports.

"The average number of starters that were out for top 25 teams that bama beat in 2020 was 24%

The average number of starters out for the 7 top ten teams that LSU beat in 2019 was 0.9%"

Everybody knows the 2020 season will always be remembered as the WOAT (worst of all time).

It is what it is.

Opt outs and Covid-19 were both part of the season for every team that played this year. The fact that Alabama handled them better than others adds to the team's greatness because it speaks to focus and drive.

As another Tide fan, a suggestion:
Let's just leave all this "greatest" argument to all the LSU clowns to babble with each other about because they've got nothing else to be proud of....hell, they come from a...swamp.

3 National Championships in the past 16 years in Football.
6 College World Series Baseball Championships
4 SEC Basketball Championships since 2000.

Sorry little fella.

I think bama had the perect storm of returning upperclassmen and coaches/coordinators to handle the lack of no spring and limited fall practice.

Yeah, it's amazing that bama played no games with clusters of starters out due to testing/contract tracing.

If you know anything about Saban, he saw the SEC CV19 guidelines as an opportunity to gain competitve advantage.

Part of it was being lucky, and the rest were protocols in place by the medical staff willingly adhere to the SEC guidelines.

Let me ask you something? How many teams had major outbreaks following playing Bama with contact tracing?

Alabama fans bring unbiased articles to the board stating 2020 Alabama > 2019 LSU while LSU fans bring articles written by Louisiana natives.

Very, very sad.

I'm not sure, but I'm not implying bama played with sick players.

I am implying that there is no way saban would allow a cluster of players to sit out because of contract trcing.

NO WAY.

Why no ridiculous typical comments on these facts?

Except it's not in his hands, that's why I don't understand the point. Go back read the SEC protocol and guidelines...they send independent medical personnel to collect samples while working with team's medical staff. Any positive test has to be documented and logged, to come back I think you need 3 negative test in a 36 hour period according to their guidelines.
