Gamecocks were ranked for 15 weeks (a high of #16) in the 2016-17 season - and dropped out after a loss on 2/18 in Nashville - USC didn't appear in a basketball Top 25 again until Paris' team entered at #15 on Feb 6 this season -
the Final Four run in March 2017 occurred with Carolina outside of the Top 25 - Paris had USC ranked at #11 earlier this season - which is the highest ranking for Gamecock basketball since Eddie Fogler's teams in the 90s - which includes the SEC Champion Gamecocks -
