It's called being a Razorback fan.
It's a form of PTSD. Too many years of weird shite, bad calls, bad breaks, dropped fouls, stoernovers, etc. We feel worse when things are good cause we know some shite is coming. 
Too many heartbreakers and drop kicks to the nuts take a toll over a couple of decades.

I try not to overreact, because the long story is far from over. We are an incredible team overall.
so who you got tomorrow, why, etc. You have real knowledge of this team. I became a fan of College baseball just a few years back. Got tired of the MLB contracts/strikes, etc.

What’s really a double whammy is you had a perfect opportunity to separate yourself to win the conference with two of the top teams playing each other in Knoxville

We are ranked number one as we deserve it but that might end tomorrow.
I knew we would screw it up and Tennessee would win. But I seriously doubt this team will hold on as number one and win the CWS. That would be a huge surprise. Being an Arkansas fan will teach you to expect the worse. So I will have to see it to believe it.

I don't think he was going with analytics at all there. I think he wanted to see if Wiggins could handle coming into a high pressure situation. He needs to know what we have before we get to the postseason.
It sucks we lost but DVH is trading a meaningless win for a great teaching moment for several kids and figuring out how he will handle the bullpen for the tourney. We still have a chance for the series win tomorrow.
Even though it sucks we lost, I have to say I really like the move. This team needs to face adversity and continue to be motivated to get better. You win too much and you get complacent.
