Steve Sarkisian took a shot at a school in Texas while stressing the importance of the strength of schedule. Per Anwar Richardson, the Texas Longhorns head coach said, “There’s a team in our state that plays in another conference that has a schedule that I would argue if I played with our twos and our threes, we could go undefeated, and they’ll probably make the CFP this year.”
I don't disagree with him that Texas Tech is probably not CFP worthy and wouldn't be if they played in the SEC or B1G. But considering how he has struggled with his ones in the past, I don't think I would've said that. It's not like he dominated the Big 12 year in and year out when he was there. OU wasn't dominant either at that time. And he let Baylor and KSU win it in 2021 and 2022. And TCU made the playoff with less talent in 2022. Wasted Bijan.

I agree. Public whining is not a good look. I’m not sure what is up with Sark lately. I thought he was all about teaching his players not to mouth off, and to let their play on the field do their talking.
Let’s first see if we can field a decent offensive line this year…

Why are you riding tech this hard? Aggies should agree cause aggies as much as I truly hate them have an extremely difficult schedule and don't back down at scheduling teams like notre dame.

It’s probably true but what a terrible look right now, the sec hasn’t played in a natty since 22, the acc owns head to head on the sec for I think three years running now but def last two and Texas has been given one hell of a cupcake schedule compared to the rest of the sec. Like damn read a room datk. Are Bama and miss the only sec teams with an expanded playoff victory?

Texas's only season loss in 2023 was to now-SEC Oklahoma. And destroyed Tech by 50.
