Well duh. OU and Texas are top 10 most valuable CFB programs whereas people in LA don't even watch when USC is good.

I’ll get DV’d into oblivion for this, but I’m not getting that this has anything to do with DJT. It sounds like he’s being diplomatic about not attempting to one-up other conferences. And really, as far as the acquisitions go, the SEC definitely got the better deal in regards to the teams acquired. I just don’t see how the commissioner of the SEC would want to bring politics into realignment discussions. Especially political views that surely wouldn’t resonate with ~90% of his viewership. Am I missing it?

If it’s not broke don’t fix it. I’m in agreement with this. We have a great conference as is.

Missouri borders KY, TN and AR. And newcomer OK. Not out on an island at all.

Not geographically, no, but it's certainly much more non-Southernish identifiable as anyone in the league. Which is fine, but it's an outlier in that regard, especially if you see "Texan" as a close relative of Southern.

Missouri only barely borders Kentucky and Tennessee and is due north of Arkansas. It's our biggest stretch by far.

If I’ve learned anything since Trump took office, it’s that numerous successful leaders of large organizations have somehow lost all abilities to be neutral and instead want to voluntarily cater to a vocal minority on the echo chamber that is Twitter. Even when no one is asking them to do it. It’s baffling to see but it keeps happening again and again. I could easily see Sankey falling in to that.

No trouble for Georgia or USC to travel anywhere.

UGA's official travel bus via Delta Air Lines....

USC's official travel bus via United Airlines......

Up, up and away!

Voter ID is a good example. 80% of democrats support it, but they don't care.

Personally, I think they are trying to destroy the country on purpose.

The southern part of Missouri grows cotton. They grew more cotton than Alabama or Tennessee in 2021.

Missouri was a star on the Confederate Flag.

Traditional and conservative state. More so than Georgia now.

And they wanted to join us. That counts for a lot.

They hate KU which dates back to the War of Northern Aggression.

Southeastern Missouri is part of the south. It was settled from Tennessee and Kentucky by Scots-Irish.

Southwest Missouri has a more western feel as you get into the Ozarks. It has a more in common (unsurprisingly) with Eastern Oklahoma and Northwestern Arkansas than it has with Southeast Missouri.

Central and Northern Missouri, settled more by Germans and from the Midwest are more like the rest of the Midwest.

Missouri, like many states, has varied identities.
It is part southern and part other things.

I agree. Biden has that look that he doesn't know what to do with a dick in each hand.
