Exactly. No matter who is coach, that defense is unfixable. Not that Petrino gives AF about defense anyway.

It was time... I really like Sam as a person, but this is a results oriented business.
The one thing I will never understand was how poor many of the OLs were during his time. Not the talent gap due to shitty NIL, I get that we weren't going to compete for the top guys. I'm talking basic fundamental technique and assignment stuff. Of all people, Sam knows an offense is only as good as it's OL.

He was the damn offensive coordinator. Don't get me wrong.I think he's a complete snake but this wasn't one of his snake moves. You have to assume pittman was very successful for that to work.
