Honest to god if Saban told you to sacrifice your wife would you do it?

And honestly, Nick is a little off here. Fatherhood isn’t a football game. Sometimes children need discipline yes, but they also at times do need pure love and not you to let them know their every fault

I'm really not sure how to respond to someone who takes a general statement/example and tries to apply it in an absolute manner across everything.

I would think such things are obvious and go without saying.

If she wore the pants in the relationship it would be way more tempting.

I am very confused as how you equate wearing pants = you have to publicly shame your wife

It’s pretty trailer park mentality

Hypocrites.

I didn't even know CEO had kids, why would I care if they've been arrested?

I'm pretty sure that you think she was shamed in any way is your trailer park mentality.

My wife wouldn't be upset by it, she would consider it a compliment of her as a loving mother.

Coach Saban is demanding and expects people to do their damn job, do what's right, and work hard everyday. I'm sure he was the same way raising his kids is there something wrong with that mentality?

Personally, I could always get away with more from my mother. Dad was a hard arse that drove me and stayed on me nonstop.

WTF Nick? Probably shouldn't have thrown that out there.

Try again.

All you are doing is telling me your wife treats you like a bitch who would rather ignore the truth. Sorry about your luck.

Please say something similar about your wife and post it on Facebook. Let's see her response.

Saban told the world that his wife did not do the "right" things as a parent. It was an a-hole thing to say. He did not need to mention his wife at all.

By the way, he was comparing her to the coaches that said he was difficult to work for. That was his placement of her in his analogy.

My goodness what a single minded prick and first class jackass you are. Or what a butt hurt loser you are because your favorite team has gotten killed by Saban's ball club. Or worse, a combo of the two.

Question

When you verbally abuse your wife, do you finish it with a "roll tide" Harvey style or a "Coach Saban told me too" like the mom stadium jumper?

Facebook?

I didn't hear anything like that from his words. You read what you wanted to hear and applied the context as you wanted.

Because in general what he said is common for couples, thus the reason he mentioned it as an example, figuring people would be able to relate.

My wife knows and admits she is too easy on the kids and will readily tell anyone she left the discipline up to me. Her way of discipline was basically threatening them to tell me what they've done.

You are the one who read that means she was a bad mother and that he was blaming her. All I heard was basic human nature.
