Good luck getting to the edge Auburn. Cj mosley and haha will have career days

Don't kid yourself. The reads they're going to have to make isn't going to be natural to them.

To expect them to have "career days" is absolutely foolish.

True. Auburn is a much better team with Gus this year. Auburn is capable of beating Bama. Auburn is a top five team imo.

Meant 2011. With Clint Mosely as QB, AUs hads were tied. If you want to compare teams vs Sabans defense, use 2010.

2010 AU team is very similar to this years team with two exceptions, Cam and NF. All the other positions are similar in talent, and AU used Cam that game differently in the first half. I still think bama's 2010 Defense was better than this years, they just were exposed by good QBs. This year bama has faced one good QB. We saw what he did.

A fumble recovery in the endzone and a KO return.
Poor Mosely, threw him to the dogs that day.

Top 5 teams don't blow a 20 point lead in the 4th quarter. Top 5 teams don't rely on a miracle Hail Mary pass to win a football game against a team that is barely ranked.

They are a Top 10 team. But a Top 5 team? I just don't see it.

Not true. Other than Johnny we faced Mett who is lighting it up this year. Wallace isn't too bad either.

For auburn to have a chance in the game, they will need around 250 yards passing. They will not be able to run the ball consistently for 4 quarters without keeping our safeties honest. I guarantee you that Bama will sellout to stop the run, and if auburn can't deter that by hitting key 1st down passes, then auburn will be in for a long day.

As good as Cam and Auburn's offense was in 2010, their defense won the Iron Bowl for them, not their offense. This year's Auburn defense is not as good as the 2010 one, though the margin isn't very big, and Alabama's offense is a lot better.

That said, it is kind of odd how similar this AU team is to the 2010, minus Cam. Veteran OL, big bruising RB, strong and deep DL, questionable LB and secondary, strong kickers.

Mason=Dyer, Coates=Adams, Grant=McCalabb, 2013 OL=2010 OL. Same can be said for the DL and Secondary, 2010 LBs were better.

Bama 2010 defense was loaded, they just underachieved. Plus bama had Ingram, Richardson and Jones.

I'd say Bama's 2010 offense underachieved far more than the defense did, but it's splitting hairs. The defense was pretty dominant save for the South Carolina game, and the 2nd half of the Iron Bowl.

Thats cool, but I was laughing because you said that 2010 AU is just like 2013 AU...if 2010 AU didnt have two of the best players in AU's football history.

Just because they were loaded doesnt mean they were better. This defense is loaded too.

Nah. Kickoff return for a touchdown, and a fumble recovery for a touchdown.

0.

Good QBs are not hot and cold. Mett and Wallace are very inconsistant from week to week. The two good QBs in the league are Murray and JFF. Everyone else is below them by a long way.

No, I said they were a better comparison. To use 2009 and 2011 to make a statistical point, is a waste of time. AU was undermanned both years due to limitations at QB.
