Saban wins with better talent - not coaching.

Yes - this counts - but seems to be a trait people push towards other coaches. Bama recruits lights out and develops lights out. His coaching was poor to very poor tonight. But he leaned and ran down hill with talent.

When other coaches do that they say he just wins because of talent. No coach has ever won because of recruiting and development by S&C than Saban. His x and o tonight was laughable at best. His horses finished for him. As always.

That's call "recruiting" and it is definitely part of coaching.

Sources say he is the first ever coach to win a game ever.

Yep. Changing the defensive game plan without Williams (momentarily) and going for two (to avoid OT) was all about the talent. GTFO troll. We have the best coach in the country, and he don't frick around.

Dude, I will tell you that we won alot this year with coaching. No doubt in my mind the coaches won this game (especially the offensive playcallers) because we DO NOT have the talent we had last year.

maybe, but most of the sports pundits have been talking all week about how georgia has the most nfl ready players of any team in cfb.

recruiting talent is major, but developing is just as important.

Yes, we will be looking for a good coach as soon as we win our third NCAA championship in three years come January. Know of any?

I 100% agree that talent is coaching - but many people will discount coaches efforts, of course never saban, by claiming they are not x o guys but they win with talent. I personally think that is the best way to coach. But it is fair to say that Saban is in this mold. He is not an x o guy like so many like to think. He is a recruiter and a developer of NFL talent. Coaching is avg. Tonight well below average. That is simply fact.

Talent that he COACHES up to prolific levels.

You don't think that matters, look at the dumpster fire in Auburn right now. Tons of talent but terrible coaching = 3-9

Right - I am agreeing with you. He coaches and develops which is the most important. He is not an x o guy. See NFL. He needs the best talent - and he damn well gets it and is very successful. BUt he is not a game day coach - hence x o. He is one of the best coaches in history in my opinion. He wins with talent and depth and that is what is important - and that is why he gets depth and the best kids.

But he is weak with all talent being equal. That is why yall have him. and why he will not go to the NFL. He is Mack Brown - but one that develops better. His x o can be laugable. and it was today.

Talent does not equal wins. Ask Auburn.
