If you're talking about the press conference, he didn't complain about the game being on TV. He simply said that since the game will be available to opponents, they're not going to show what they've done differently this spring.

I get the feeling its a ruse. He knows that the under the table agreement to promote Alabama athletics especially football with the SEC network is an advantage. He's just reflecting the notion that he has anything to do with them being a favorite of the network he may have part ownership in. Besides he can always have his camera people scan only where the section that have his fans shoulder to shoulder or butt to butt.

Clearly you have never been in the same room as Saban.

I don't see how his players can keep a straight face when they're taking orders from him. If he and I were ever in the same room and he was trying to act like a hardass, I definitely would start cracking up.
You'd shite your pants, scooter. Guys that could tear your head off and crap down your neck are often intimidated when he goes off on them. How many 100s of guys has he tuned up and how many of them had a smile on their face?

That said, how many players and coaches and acquaintances need to say he's an awesome guy before people realize it?

It's impossible to reason with haters because the hate doesn't come from a place that uses reason to start with.

Better off telling your 16 year old daughter not to marry that man.

He made an NFL lineman cry, so there must be something you don't quite understand.

Don't have one. Was watching my future ex-wife Maria Taylor on SEC Now, and they showed a snippet from his press conference after practice. I think he was answering a question, although I don't know what the question was. He just looked and acted constipated over something pretty trivial.

It is not under the table. The SEC office (aka Bama alumni assoc) makes no attempts to hide their favoritism of Bama and goal to screw all other SEC schools.

Packed house helps with recruiting, and 70,000 people in a stadium that holds 100K is underwhelming.
, yeah right! Other teams in the SEC won't have 70,000 combined fans, but go ahead.

Wow Coach Sandusky, just wow.

Just something else to think about, the poster you responded to with this most likely is over 15 and may not fit your profile.

And it seems like the older he gets, the more often he beats LSU.
