I'd be willing to bet that's not the reason he doesn't like it on TV.
He doesn't like it on TV because lazy fans won't show up in as high of a number if they can sit at home and watch the game on TV.
Packed house helps with recruiting, and 70,000 people in a stadium that holds 100K is underwhelming.

I don't know if you realize it, but the man isn't worried about recruiting... This has nothing to do with recruiting.. 5 people could show up and he'd still sign a top 3 class.

I agree with this to some degree but don't forget that having a spring game on tv whether it is on the SEC Network or ESPN is a recruiting tool in it self.
