Who cares?
Give them the best coach in the world and then beat them. I hope none of their players are injured or unfairly ineligible.
I wouldn’t want it any other way.

In case Saban is listening,

I heard from a bunch of people I know in the league that they don't think he's good enough to coach in the NFL. They said that they think that he is scared because he was a total failure the last time. Only the best coaches go to the NFL and he's just not good enough for that level. Definitely shouldn't go pro.

That's known as "pulling a Saban".

Why does everyone say he failed miserably in the pros? He went 15-17 lol.

Because that's what he is. That's what he's always been. He's a .500 coach. Any place where he's had even talent with those around him, he went .500. That's what he was at Michigan State and that's what he was in the Pros.

He was successful at LSU and Alabama because of recruiting. He knows what it takes to recruit and when he's in a place where he can get better talent than the teams around him then that puts him over the edge. You don't get that luxury in the NFL because the talent level is pretty even. There's parody in the NFL so you actually have to have a really good coaching mind to be a consistent winner.

Guys like Mike Leach, Chris Petersen and Dan Mullen are great coaches. Those guys can shine a turd like no other and that's what makes a coach great.

Saban wins because of talent. Pure and simple.

Saban contract says ,that if he does not coach any where else. He will get paid for the rest if his life. Even after retirement.

Let’s see, go from a premier college program where he’s winning championships and making a bazillion dollars to a bottom-feeder of a declining league for a bazillion dollars. Of course, how could we have missed this? ???????

Because it's not all about winning. It's about building something. It's about creating. When you win as easily as he does it's not fun anymore and no longer a challenge. I've heard from one person that knows him that he doesn't actually do much anymore and that he's more of a figurehead. The system he's built kind of runs itself and he's just an administrator hiring and firing people and teaching some fundamentals at practice.

I think his failure at the NFL level gnaws at him. It's an itch he just has to scratch and I don't see him retiring from football without giving it at least one more shot.

Would love for LSU fans to start a go fund me and buy a couple a billboards through the south and Cleveland and start this rumor. Would love to see a total meltdown by Saban after the media keeps asking him about it.

I’d even donate some money as a Clemson fan.

It's a shame Saban lacks the temperament and elite pro coaching skills to succeed as an NFL head coach.

Saban does not want to coach in the NFL. He really didn't want to leave LSU and coach in the NFL, but when an owner gives you the control he was given it's hard to pass up. That being said, Saban couldn't cut it as a HC in the NFL before, IDK what makes people think he would again.

15% of the team and $12 mil a year should do it.

Saban is getting bored in the bama backwoods.

Cleveland is home. He would be a legend there.

I'd rather watch Orgeron beat him as much as possible at Bama...
