mean, even ignoring how shitty the Browns are, who the hell wants to live in Cleveland.

He’s from West Virginia, so maybe he misses moonshine and all his cute cousins.

Belichick reveres Paul Brown, and doesn't mince words with his affection for that city and team. Saban's ego could absolutely be attracted by the prospect of winning where his former boss couldn't.

Cleveland has some solid young talent across a number of positions. Mayfield, Chubb, Garrett, Ward, and Landry. That team would do well with a Nick Saban that could bring a culture change. The difference in Saban in the NFL now and when he was with the Dolphins is that all of the players would have the utmost respect for him and what he has accomplished. If the Browns give him a piece of ownership, that’s something that Bama could never give. Give him the Gruden package that way he wouldn’t have to worry about his short term security.

OKAY TIGER FANS... here is another way you can help the team. Make sure everyone on Twitter gets this story. Anything we can do to break Bama's focus, must be done.

Can we change or banner to read "Saban to Browns"?

SIAP, but the Cleveland interim OC is former Tide QB Freddie Kitchens, who was a grad assistant under Saban at LSU. The plot thickens.

My understanding is Emmert is joining him as Team President and Sankey as General Manager. Those 3 work well together and can manipulate the NFL free agency and draft as easily as they did NCAA and SEC rules.

I'm sure this is Sexton doing work. If I were Alabama, I would call this bluff. No fricking way he leaves that power house for a proven failure of an organization.

An NFL team would be crazy to match Coach Saban's alabama salary, and saban would be crazy to leave tuscaloosa for an amount less than $15 million per year...
Cleveland is in desperate times. They have a 20 odd year history of making questionable bargain basement hires and haven't even sniffed the jockstraps of what they once were, before they moved the team to Baltimore. I could see Jimmy Haslam (owner) saying "frick it, let's do it" in a last-ditch effort to bring them back to relevance. Much like how Oakland lured Jon Gruden back.

No way Saban could handle an NFL team. He’s just not as young and good as he once was plain and simple. He’s closer to Depends then ever winning a Lombardi Trophy. ??

A bunch of us need to call sabans office this week saying that we r reporters from Cleveland and say that we have confirmed that he is going to Cleveland and he needs to call us back to talk about it... all week long to distract him from our game

Doesn’t matter if true. Just keep pushing this narrative until the media ask him about it. Will be good at that press conference. Billboards in Tuscaloosa needed.

Saban is not cut out for the NFL, and he has to know this. Bama till he retires.

Saban is getting part ownership from Tennessee fan/Browns owner Haslem. Kills two birds with one stone.

I am ready for Saban to move on...

It's hard to enjoy college football with him dominating #1 recruiting classes

it's jacked up...

He's played for 6 national titles (won 5) in 11 years...that's just stupid...

you look at his roster, he could easily do it again the next 10 years

he's ruined college football

And Emmert will magically retire. And Bama finally gets investigated for the 1000s of infractions committed.

He killed the SEC. The REC helped ruin College Football as well.’ Let’s just hope Emmert retires when Saban leaves and we can see hard sanctions against Bama. Hopefully the death penalty. The REC created a lack out of institutional control not only at Bama but also conference wide and even throughout the NCAA
