If it's not Saban leaving, it's spurrier retiring.

Or both! Hell, the law of averages states that eventually, somewhere, a thread will be started about Saban to South Carolina and Spurrier to Alabama.

you'll get a few lsu fans on here that will bash him for "lying" to us. personally, i don't want him to go anywhere.

he's got 2 NCs, which is where he gets his rep from, but the other 12 years of his coaching career is far too medicore.

that said, he's done a really good job with this years team.

Be thankful because jury is still out on his proteges - Dooley, Muschamp, Fisher, etc.

Smart is no slam dunk either if he ends up coach in waiting.

You should hope he feels more excited than he looks. He looks like he's aged 10 years in the past 4 and looks burned out as hell.

You want me to search through and find every instance where one of those wretched threads was started? Seriously?

Well, I suppose I can see where this makes sense... well, at least as much sense as crank calling your ex-girlfriend in the middle of the night five years after she left you.

Saban has been Jimmy Sexton's most high profile client at the collegiate level. When he left LSU he was the highest at any level. He sets the "curve" on salaries for Sextons clients. Saban will stay in Alabama until either they dont match an offer (like LSU didnt do) or he drops Sexton as an agent.

He looks pretty damn good for a 60 year old :nohomo:. What makes him look burnt out? He seems passionate on the sidelines and less irritated.

he looks pretty irritated to me. running around still screamin and hollering.

nick always gets that look, he's not burned out. he has it in the NC runs.

nick is like larry brown, they would rather practice and teach than play a game. if you went to his practices, i bet he doesn't look burnt out at all.

Excluding Papa Joe, they're all gonna leave someday. It's a fact. It will have to be big though to leave Bama.

Another Saban quote for you:

"I will not be the coach at Alabama"

So believe whatever he says because he never lies.
