You boys are like hypocritical democrats. Les Miles lies when said he would not leave Oklahoma State. Coaches can't tell their school that they are looking to make a move. It would be just stupid.

I just hope that LSU keeps training Les up to take over at Bama. He's still got a few things to learn...like, I'm not sure that I want a HC that has an offense in the bottom quarter of the country.

Being 84th would be unacceptable at Bama. But, it's okay on the bayou.

I agree. It is stupid. But there's a difference between Miles not telling OSU he was interested in the LSU job and Nick Saban getting up in a press conference and saying "I'm not going to be the coach at Alabama". There is a difference between not disclosing the truth and telling a bold faced lie. In fact, in a legal forum, that principle is protected in this country by a little thing called the 5th amendment.

Who said it's acceptable on the Bayou? Maybe you failed to notice that Miles hired a new offensive coordinator and QB coach after last year?

Yet LSU is ahead of Bama in points scored per game. Congrats on not being able to get points out of your yards.

Yeah being 6-0 and averaging 40 points/game really sucks.

As long he keeps pulling in top 3 recruiting classes, and keeps winning 10+ games a year, then I think we will let him stay here as long as he wants.

What if he has an offense ranked 84th overall despite an undefeated record, according to some of you Bama fans, that's unacceptable.

Can you explain why he can't get the offense to turn those yards into points?

The NFL laughs at this notion.

I'm not sure what you are asking? The stats speak for themselves.

Bama is second in the SEC for the last four years in scoring offense. Behind only Ark, a team that has to score to win. I think that is an amazing four year stretch for a team like Bama, that is a ball control, denfense first team.

Edit: Bama leads, I eyeballed it the first time and missed. Bama is the no.1 team in scoring O the last four years.

To add to the above, Bama actually leads the SEC in scoring the last four years against FBS opponents.

That's incredible, for a defensive team.

And as a Dolphin fan I can personally attest to watching him run away from a challenge.

So I guess you can acknowledge that LSU (also a "defensive" team) outscoring Bama is slightly more incredible...at least this year?

Is he already looking for an out that he can't be criticized for? Ole lil' nicky. Always up to something.

Problem is you are using a very small sample by using only six games. LSU has sucked it up the last few years on O, while being a defensive team. Six games does not change that.

If you want to only look at this year, Bama leads the SEC in SEC vs SEC scoring. Bama also leads the SEC in scoring against FBS opponents.

And yet you start a thread about your coach confirming he wants to stay at Alabama. Do you realize you're being the hypocrit?

Idiot.

And y'all LOVE stats!!!! I'm asking why you guys don't score more points than our putrid 84th ranked offense this year? Since somebody liked to say that kind of shite offense wasn't acceptable at Bama.

I love how you bash this guy for using a small sample then you break his small sample down to smaller samples to make your stats better. My point was that y'all shouldn't judge LSU for it's yards per game because we are playing on half a field most of the time due to forced turnovers and winning the field position battle. This is our first year under a new OC and our offense hasn't looked better in years. We put up 450 yards (since y'all like yards so much) and more importantly, 41 points on what was supposed to be a good UF defense. I think our offense is doing just fine this year.

Oh, I see. So using "selective data" is only OK when YOU are the one selecting it? What do I give a shite about SEC vs. SEC or vs. FBS? Bama hanging 41 on North Texas is significant because they are an FBS team.....and LSU hanging 40 on #9 Oregon and 47 on #16 West Virginia are not because they aren't SEC teams? GTFO!
