Nick made himself perfectly clear. That woman should have been at home in the kitchen not on the field of play.

I think the media and Tennessee fans are making it a bigger deal than the girl.

To me, when you say someone hit someone, you are talking about a closed fisted punch. In which the person is facing the person they are striking, and it's done with a decent amount of force.
Now, I don't see how anyone could ever condone someone physically hitting someone after a game, especially a woman.
But when I watched the video, he wasn't even facing her. And he certainly wasn't able to throw a punch from that angle.
He did reach out towards her, that much is clear. And even that he shouldn't have done. But I think it's pretty fricking stupid acting like it's the same thing as someone who truly punches and physically assaults someone.
Was she even at all injured or harmed in anyway?

If she had slipped adn fallen, sure. Hit by a goalpost, maybe.
Punched by a 200 pound pissed off football player? No.
The players don't assume that risk. If he had done it during the game, he would have been thrown out.
