The simple fact is he cannot defend against high power offenses that are mobile with a mobile qb or the no-huddle offense. He has failed miserably over the past 2 years even when his team is much better talent wise. Also the offense could have easily gutted Oklahoma and any idiot could see to simply throw screen passes. Both Nussmier and Smart need to go move on and purge the slacker players. For the salary he will make next year as head coach/CEO of this team, he has to make changes now or it'll be a slow decline to mediocrity til he retires.
so ...for 7.5 million you expect more?

I'd put this more on the players. Saban prepped them well for A&M. They played like the self-entitled bitches they are. It's ok for them to be disappointed about the Auburn game but not ok for them to play like that. OU is solid but Bama made them look great. And Yeldon? WTF? Great to see that powerback getting reps but he's not an every down rep yet as he's not been playing a lot to be in shape. The others had the combine on their minds.
Also, Bama may not want to admit it but you haven't had a particularly grueling schedule. Tough competition matters and helps teams in the long run even if it makes winning easier in the short term. There's not a lot to learn from cupcakes no matter how much it helps W-L ratio.

Not allowed to get away with holding, 3 first half turnovers- how can you expect to win?
Is it because you just got held hostage and bent over by Saban for more $ that you expected to win? Was the extra $ worth the great coaching you just witnessed?
Maybe he can continue his streak of 1 SEC title the past 4 years? You do realize that after this choke to OU it will be much more difficult for him to politic for Bama a mulligan playoff berth?
Back to back losses will make this offseason melt enjoyable.
I am not disappoint.

People really over react, both Bama fans and rivals, if I remember correctly the last time Alabama lost their last 2 games of the year, they went 14-0 and won the National Championship the next year and quite frankly none of us know if that will or will not happen next year. Only time will tell.

Why did he send Cade foster out to miss another field goal?

How many death threats from Bama fans did he get after that miss?

Are you retarded or high perhaps? You should rethink your post.

Easy solution. Carve out a little bit of money from his huge salary to hire assistants from each of the other SEC West teams (other than Ole Miss.. been there, done that)so that they steal signs during the games. This, combined with the SEC officiating offices in AL, should be enough for Saban to be back on top in a hurry.

Especially when the UA admin decides they can't take anymore 'mediocrity' and tries to talk Saban into resigning rather than firing him (and being forced to eat the remainder of his $60,000,000+ contract).
