I wonder if Little Nicky hauls off and hits his own kids like that when they don't live up to his anal retentive standards? If he will do that much in public, what is he capable of in private?
That was not a slap on the butt like "let's go", that was much more. You can try to downplay it, but raising a hand to a kid is something that should never be a part of atheletics.... Period. You might be able to get away hitting kids like that in the name of "winning", but not another adult. Maybe now we know why he had to leave the NFL. Can't act like that with those highly paid, big ego guys, now can he?
He is pathetic. And those of you making excuses for his over the top behavior are pathetic as well.

That's a little different than slapping someone on the arse.

You obviously didnt see the play. It was not a slap on the butt! Saban also should have been penalised for running out on the field like that. He just couldnt wait to get to the film room to address this, had to chew the kid out on TV.

You guys do realize they wear butt pads right? McCarron didn't even feel it.

Josh Jasper will laugh real hard at this.
I did not realize that Josh Jasper was playing QB, but then again he would be a step up for LSU in that department.

That's because we still know Saban better then Bama Fans. You are almost full circle but not there yet.

The really disturbing thing about this was Saban's inability to control his temper. The slap is just an after the fact shot.

Going onto the field to be so eager to get your hands on the dude who pissed you off is a no-no.

This is going to lead to something much worse. If a coach is so angry (look at his face and actions rather then the butt slap) and you will see something that isn't right. It will only build until it results in a full explosion.

Good thing is, if McCarron can withstand a slap on his arse from Saban, then a spear to the back from Fairley shouldnt phase him.

Legally it's called "assault and battery."

The game of football should involve lots and lots of bubblewrap then to change that...

Then we'll wait to see if A.J. files charges.

If an old man hitting him on the arse is too much for A.J., then he doesn't need to line up to face defensive linemen. Just sayin'.

That wasn't a pat on the arse... That was an anger-induced slap/punch. Saban may need some anger management after that episode.
