It’s for recruiting purposes as his age has become an issue.

An issue with what? Prior to signing this extension he won his last game for a national championship and as of yesterday had the top ranked recruiting class in the country. So there isn’t an issue with tactical acumen and there isn’t an issue with recruiting. Did you mean to say “I hoped his age would become an issue?”

This must feel like a gut punch. Your ex girlfriend went on to become miss universe and married a man that can properly satisfy her the way that you couldn’t type of gut punch. We understand. The support group is on the left, it’s labeled “tiger rant.” There you can wallow in delusion and just be another spoke in the wheel on the road to nowhere, and contribute a few “we comin” gifs to really fit in.

Whoa.

I don't think I've ever read a more accurately described analogy.

I recall an article - I think it was from the Shreveport Times - when Saban first came to Alabama.

Imagine that you have a smoking hot girlfriend, your first in a long time. Everything is going great and she's just absolutely awesome. Unfortunately, she catches the eye of Brad Pitt and she goes off with him. It hurts, yeah, but you understand. It's Brad Pitt, after all.

A few years later, she dumps Brad. Lo and behold, she decides to shack up with the guy down the street from you - the guy who used to bully you when you were a kid. You can live with her being with Pitt, but it's a real punch in the gut to see her happily married to the dude who made your life miserable even before she went to him.

Dude is healthier and more active that coaches 20 years younger than him. Only people making it an age issue are desperate.
