This guy has no clue. If he doesn't get his shite straight regarding NIL OSU recruiting will fall off a cliff.

You realize that all the sec schools pool their money together so they all get paid. You get an extra share of the bowl revenue you earned but thats it....

Do you realize the GOAT Coach which you haven't beaten isn't asking Bryce Young to share shite!

Almost every American sports league is somewhat communist in nature if you think about it.

There’s no free market competition angle for someone who wants to just start a team, it’s literally impossible.

Good point, but this is akin to your CEO asking you to split-up your new $1m bonus amongst everyone else at the entire company (including those unpaid interns who might only be here for a few more months), to make sure that all the money you earned for yourself gets "disseminated throughout the team."

This is where the NCAA dropped the ball. Should have been a common pool and every player receives the same. Colleges and Universities in larger cities have a lot more commercial opportunities for athletes to get paid.

Players would have still been paid but it would take away the incentive to move to a school based on money alone. Money is going to be huge incentive going forward.

This is getting to be like MLB without a salary cap. Yankees would be completely unstoppable without the cap. Going to end up with a handful of high salary college teams. Small market teams have almost no chance going forward as it is starting to play out.

Next national signing day is going to be very telling.

Except that with NIL not everyone will get paid, unlike a working environment where everyone gets a paycheck.

It's actually not a bad idea from the standpoint of team chemistry, especially when you consider the entire league shares revenue.

A league is an entity. Its subparts share in the revenue so the league can be healthy. It's akin to a company distributing resources to competing subsidiaries.

THIS proposal is taking value from one individual and giving it to another. This is NCAA owning and controlling the means of production and distribution.

Ryan Day's proposal on NIL proceeds redistribution has goose-stepping communist shite twinkle-toed cocksucker written all over it.

It's not a terrible idea, honestly. That could be the compromise the NCAA is looking for in a situation like this

this would have helped, but since the NCAA is nothing more than a money laundering operation, they don't know how to run something that won't nosedive off a cliff.

That didn't take long.

Wait until the Title IXers sue to make the male athletes share their NIL money with women's soccer, volleyball and golf.

I'm not going to advocate sharing NIL money, but what happens when 3 out of 5 offensive lineman aren't offered any NIL deals. Is that going to create discension amongst the players.

Would you be okay with Bryce Young making a millions dollars while your working your arse off to block for him and the RB's and making zip?

That won't be an issue at Bama and you know it. Every starter and key off the bench contributor will get money.

You don't know that. I can guarantee he has at least had a conversation about remembering the other players on the team that make him good.

He likely hasn't mandated to share, but common sense says a QB needs to pay their linemen
