How did Arkansas earn the win? They didn’t do anything to cause the fumbled snap or backwards spike.

Not sure if serious...
It's because they were leading the game at that point. A lead they earned.

Franks is mildly retarded, it was wet, he would have fumbled and we return it for a TD. Only 1 part of that was hypothetical...do you know which part?

Could Arkansas have declined it and left themselves more time on the clock?

I read that somewhere else. Another brainfart by Pittman. But they will ignore all of those.

I wasn't sure on that either. Can't they decline procedural penalties and pre-snap penalties? I'm not sure they can decline live ball penalties, but I don't truly know the answer to that.

And a lead they “unearned” because they couldn’t get a first down or prevent a game winning field goal.

Has anyone definitively answered if intentional grounding can be declined?

Shouldn't matter. The refs botched the call. If they had gotten it right, Arkansas held the lead. End of story. Arkansas earned a W and it was taken away by a bad call.

For a different thought, up until that call I thought the game had been called pretty well. That final situation was a cluster, but before that they had done well.

Earn it on the field by making plays to win instead of hoping the other team makes a rare mistake. This is getting pathetic.

Agreed. Which makes the end of it even more egregious in my eyes.

Sure, which didn't happen.

The problem I have is the word "immediate" is so subjective. It was only like 2 seconds after the whistle that Foucha gained possession. What defines immediate?

I don't think most of us would make such a big deal out of this if there wasn't a pattern of this type of shite happening to us, on top of the SEC just giving us the hardest possible schedule they could. At times I think this conference is just as crooked as the old SWC.
