Rumor is that Kiffin is out after this weekend. Does that hurt Bama?

Seems like going through a coaches change a week before the biggest game of the year can't be good. Thoughts?

So Saban fires his OC before the playoffs? Right.

Is this weekend only a week from new year's eve? Or are you implying we've already replaced him?

I don't think it is. If Kiffin is gone, it might be better for him to leave before the playoffs. See Kirby Smart's game plan against Clemson as exhibit A.

If he does leave for LSU after the SECCG it would really be a crappy move by him, and would destroy the rehabilitation of his image that has occurred. It isn't the going to LSU part so much as it is leaving Bama during a playoff run. I would hope he would have more respect for Alabama, Saban, and the players than that.

I could understand it more if he left after the SECCG for a HC job, because he could say he had to hire a staff, etc., but he wouldn't be responsible for that at LSU. Other than recruiting, there is really no reason to go on to LSU before Bama is done.

I'm hearing the same rumors. He gone Sunday if true. Now if he's leaving for a head coach spot somewhere, hey, I get it. Good luck and thanks for all you've done.

If he's leaving to go be O's wingman, then he hasn't learned a damn thing from Saban during his career rehab in Tuscaloosa and he can GTFO right now because it's a dick move by a dick.

Pretty good reason on it's own in my opinion. However, I doubt he leaves until the season is over. Then again, we really do not have any idea what is going on behind closed doors.

I mean, it is an important thing, but that is something he technically can do while still doing his job at Bama. Smart did it last year.

Also, dead period is coming anyway.

Copying Alabama worked out so well for UGA. Hope it has similar results for LSU.

Dang, Saban is gonna be O's defensive coordinator.

That'll set us back some, probably.

You can pretty much assume the opposite of what gets posted on here. Especially if it comes from a certain fan base.

Bobby Williams is leaving to be LSU's special teams coach and Associate Head Coach. That's the rumor anyways
