Haven't heard any kind of announcement on anything. Got any sort of evidence of this? Not saying it isnt possible but hoping it's not true. I can't wait 8 more months to watch football. Need some normal back in our lives.

The way the advertising side side of CFB works is as follows:
Networks spend the early part of the spring selecting the big games they want for the upcoming season as well the early season kick times. Then networks begin announcing these game selections and early season kickoff times during “upfront” which is an industry event when tv networks unveil their upcoming programming (including sports) to advertisers for purposes of locking in advertisements for the programming. The upfront for the fall usually take place the third week in May which is why kickoff times begin to come out around this time
Because of Covid-19,the May Upfront was cancelled and advertising trade groups were informed that CFB would likely be moving to spring for next season only. This was in an effort to gage the rates for AD time for a Spring CFB season. Now, Athletic Directors and School Presidents we’re going to do what they could to play in fall (get players back on campus, make plans for live instruction in the fall etc) but the current plans look untenable with the reality of Covid-19 not taking the summer break we anticipated. In addition, universities have found the legal and risk assessment side of this very tricky. Forcing waivers on players is a political nightmare and it’s somewhat oppressive considering that these are student athletes. The risk assessment side is very troubling. There is no insurance market for hedging covid-19 liability. No Insurance syndicate is willing to write a policy. This makes covid-19 a bottomless pit of risk exposure. Business lobbies are pushing for covid-19 liability shields but this is a political powder keg as well and even more so for universities trying to have CFB on campus. There have been discussions among conferences to create a covid-19 risk pool with athletic department reserves and endowment funds. There is also talk of creating a better incentive structure for players to play and to justify isolating them from the general public. This includes having NIL rules in place by the spring season and providing players some sort of hazard bonus or enhanced scholarship. Title IX could of course cause problems with that but it’s a discussion right now.
Back to advertising: The Rescheduled upfront period is coming up in mid-July so decisions must be made now and the decision will be the contingency that has been planned for: A Spring Season only for this upcoming season. The hope is that treatment & a vaccine is farther along and that more data on covid-19 creates a liquid insurance market.

Then back in camp in August?

Good info... so at this point based on what you’re hearing, what percentage odds would you put on the following?:
-season as scheduled
-delayed season, but still in Fall 2020
-spring season
-season as scheduled
-delayed season, but still in Fall 2020
-spring season

If the season is moved to spring, I could easily see a scenario where top players just say frick it and start preparing for draft. It would be a nightmare.

"Top players......" Considering the source first, Finebaum has said, several times, that he is hearing that elite players are already considering this based on "strong advice from their "associates" . Meaning agents are already at work. Spring football would occur at the same time as pre combine evaluations, personal training for the combine, & the draft itself. Consider how MLB's draft, coming when it does during the CWS, messes with players' minds. Saban, for one, would go nuts.

This will definitely happen if it's moved to spring.
Here is why they can't move it beyond fall.
1) Most all tickets are already sold to season ticket holders 100% across P5 schools. That has to be returned.
2) Donations will have to be handled similar or with roll over to the next season.
3) College towns only make it due to the sports and that is usually football. They will be decimated without a season. In Tuscaloosa that is something 2+ billion each season. Now multiple that across 20 other schools. The local gov't's will have to be bailed out even further.
4) Jobs lost in the athletic dept. because you will have to make interim cuts.
You add all of this up and include the ripple effect or reach and it spells catastrophic for College football.
The NCAA and School heads know this and do NOT want it to happen

My good doctor, never at any point, has that game ceased to be the Cocktail Party. (However, it's possible some over achievers outdid them on the scale.) Staying abreast of the landscape is more than pay attention to valid data sources and authorities.
Knowing which ones are bullshite, irrelevant and down-right wrong are just as important.
People have no problem challenging NASA's photographic evidence that Earth is an oblong sphere or that we beat the Russians to the Moon, but some jerk-off says we should rename an SEC Tradition (which welcomes drinking and debauchery in an inclusive way) and suddenly history is altered?

Then Eastern Washington doesn't collect $1M to cover its other sports teams' budgets
It isn't the burden of P5 Sports to spread money to lower levels of CFB by playing Games where physically overmatched Teams get their brains beat in and risk injury so that School's HC & AD can get a relatively cushy paycheck for their Level
The burden should be on the E Washington to run their Program in a profitable way on their level, so they don't need these "paycheck games"
If this is indeed the mentality that P5 should subsidize these lower levels, then this is yet another example of why the P5 Revenue Athletes deserve larger stipends, time to pay the Revenue Athletes on the P5 level

Wasn't Bill Clinton on Epstein's private jet numerous times, hard to believe that guy wasn't tempted by much younger women\girls that Epstein was known to pimp out to his powerful friends
If the rumors about Clinton being on Epstein's private jet many times is true, then Hillary took out Epstein to save her the embarrassment of being the First Lady to a pervert Prez, this my conspiracy theory of course
The guy didn't suicide himself before Trial, rich folks always think they have a chance at Trial with the best Lawyers that money can buy

Slick Willy's name was on Epstein's plane manifest 64 times. And one of the victims stated that the only purpose of those island trips was for orgies. Primarily with minors according to allegations.

There's no way that any of Epstein's close friends didn't know what was going on. Trump and Clinton are both definitely involved in that fricked up scandal. The whole thing is sickening and we need to do better as a country holding these vile individuals accountable. George Floyd gets publicly executed over some wishy washy shite, but Trump and Clinton are free and rich.

Trump has pictures with Epstein at a party. His name was never on the flight log.

He's also quoted (before any of this went public) saying something along the lines of "Epstein has good tastes in girls, and let me tell you, a lot of them are younger".
Stop being obtuse. He's guilty.
