IDK if this is true. I have nothing to base this on, but it wouldn't surprise me if FSU started this rumor because we are working on flipping Israel Mukuamu and Asante Samuel Jr. in the wake of Jimbo leaving.

Seems like Jimbo Fisher has routinely leveraged offers to get more out of FSU.

This time, it doesn't seem to be working as FSU doesn't really want to play along with Jimbo Fisher's game anymore. I guess for that reason, he may actually leave.

I can't see him going from being DC for a guy that he's built a relationship like that with to DC within same conference.

Except if he succeeds as DC at TAMU, he will be in the running for big time HC positions

As Muschamp's #2 DC, he is looking at lower level P5 jobs

1. Extreme confidence from all A&M insiders that Jimbo is taking the A&M job.
2. Extreme confidence from all FSU insiders that Jimbo is taking the A&M job.
3. The fact that he has said or done nothing to indicate that he won't take the A&M job, despite extreme pressure to do so.
4. The fact that FSU recruits are being put on hold from the FSU coaching staff.

T-Rob is one my favorite all time Auburn players. He will do well wherever he goes. Would love to have him back at Auburn in the future.

If he’s only making 750k then all A&M has to do is pay him what Chavis is getting this year, 1.6M. No one is dumb enough to turn down ~113% raise. I can’t see USC paying him more than 1 M max.
