I agree with the point. Rules need to be changed in this aspect. It is ridiculous.

Agree 100%. The NFL rule should be adopted by CFB.

I agree with his comment on the O linemen part. The problem apparently isn't the rule but the consistently inept SEC officiating.

No ones gives a frick about what you think the rules should be. If that's the occasion, I think ole miss should win every game just because I think that's a rule. Shut the frick up gump.

The game is not perfect. What is wrong with making it better? Stupid rules are stupid rules. Somebody had to come up with them originally.

I thought it sucked that when Ole Miss challenged the spot last night they actually lost yardage. You should only be able to benefit from a challenge you make.

I firmly believe that had JJ's TD pass vs LSU been for the win yesterday, we'd have a whole lot of LSU fans bitching about this rule too. It does sound like sour grapes after a loss, but it needs to mirror the NFL rule on where the ball is upon release, not where your frickin heel is.

What rule change do you have for 5 turnovers?

Rule Change

I remember Saban wanting to outlaw HUNH offenses. I also remember some Alabama fans wanting the Iron Bowl cancelled after "Kick Six". Also, Alabama never loses to anyone, they just "beat themselves".

So your team loses yesterday, and now all of college football needs a rule change.

Okay.

They should limit turnovers to a maximum of 4. If a team commits a 5th they get to keep the ball, but it's a 5 yard penalty and maybe loss of down.

Yep. Hell I was bitching about it even when we answered on the next drive. Its a bush league fricking play ... passing the ball beyond the line of scrimmage with linemen 5 yards downfield. Gimme a break.

Agreed. How fricked up is it to review a play to see if the QB was over the line of scrimmage and the same replay shows 2 offensive lineman CLEARLY past the LOS and the refs can't do shite about that?

TBH, I thought that WAS the rule. Found out differently yesterday.

I think holding calls should be enforced on all teams in the SEC, not just 13 of the 14.
