yes but their sources were telling them matter of fact confidence from UF money people that scared the Ole Miss money people. That was the whole story.

If he loves Ole Miss and Oxford so much then he should just go ahead and sign the extension he verbally agreed to several days ago.

Then why not just sign an extension and end the circus?

Lane is an attention whore. Jimmy Sexton is the puppet master. who knows. But this is not an article that is screaming he is out the door is it?

I am not sold he is staying, and I do not understand the confidence that Florida has.

All the smoke seems to be coming from the UF side. Our fans are currently melting over Drinkwitz

Which is the most Sexton thing ever. Lane to LSU!

The Kiffin's (including Lane's parents and Layla) had/have strong roots in Central Florida.

Not sure what happens but we will know in a few weeks.

Which is why the majority are just having fun with this. No one really knows.

The confidence came from 2 of your 247 writers causing your fanbase to break down by telling them Lane was going to leave.

Even one of your On3 writers started yelling at one of our writers because of all the rumors that came out yesterday. Go to the 17 minute mark.

Sure, we have a couple guys trolling your fans but most UF fans on here have the same attitude as me. We will believe it when we see it.

TBH, our 247 site is pretty bad. But once a rumor starts it just spreads like wildfire unfortunately.

Part of the strategy of being all in on Kiffin is precisely to head off the Drinkwitz threat. UF UAA loves dorks and idiots they can easily control. Even Dan Mullen swagger (ha) was too much for Stricklin. If people expect Kiffin but get Lincoln Riley (or someone along these lines) fans will complain but no more than usual. But if Drinkwitz gets hired…fans will be furious.

We know the Drink threat is real. I think we fear Drink as much as we want Kiffin. But that’s all the more reason to be all in on Kiffin even if we don’t get him.

Lane has a house in FL and he loves living there.
Don't be fooled by journalists.

It was a loaded question, basically, if you take away all the caveats, would LK go to UF. So if you take away his daughter having 2 more years at OM that she loves, his son being a starting QB in a play off run as a soph etc. All that he has done in Oxford etc. Take all that away. Yes is leaving.

Everybody ran with Yes he is leaving without the caveat factor.

You take the caveats away he is the current coach at Auburn right now.

Then why doesn't he just sign a fricking extension and tell people he's staying. I get it that Sexton would like to buy a Condo, in Belize, but, at some point, this shite is going to hurt his team, if he doesn't shut it, the frick, down.

Maybe it helps that these guys are all playing for their next contract. It's a lot easier to stay focused when an extra 100k, or more, is on the line...

He’s going to stay and drain every dime out of Ole Miss donors over the next few years. He’ll win a bunch of games. As soon as the money starts to dry up he will go somewhere else. It’s the smart move

The goal of the next month is to muddy the waters as long as possible. Then swoop in and steal as much talent as possible. LSU, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida…..these schools are all right there in his footprint and available to be poached

Right now, the only thing that unifies LSU fans is hatred for Governor Landry, so there's that.
