LSU clinging to a “Greatest Team of All Time” debate while their defense gave up 22 points per game is frankly hilarious.
That defense was littered with NFL players and starters at every level. Most defenses (look at some of the point totals the Alabama and Georgia defenses during the years gave up in some games) tend to lose focus when you're winning by 3-4 touchdowns. But if you don't think they were dominant, go ahead and point me to another team that went an entire season (15-0) where the opponent never possessed the ball on offense in the 4th quarter with a chance to tie or take the lead. That in a word is "dominance."

I’d love to see Carson Beck win another title. Classy kid.

The Cavinder girl said she broke up with Beck because he was an arrogant douche. I don’t know who’s right or who’s wrong. They both seem full of themselves

They were a fluke 3rd and 17 from losing to 8-5 Texas
After tonight this comparison will be dead, Indiana will be the consensus goat outside of that shithole loserana

LSU had a good offensive team but no defense
Not true, at all. LSU had 7-8 NFL players on that defense, including a couple of All-Pros.

They gave up over 22 points a game. Indiana gives up 11 points a game. I know statistics can hurt.

Now compare the QBs that LSU faced with those faced by Indiana.
I doubt a team has ever faced more NFL starting QBs in one year:
Hurts
Lawrence
Tua
Love
Nix
Not to mention a few others who went in the NFL Draft, like Trask and Ehlinger.

It’s already over…they’re a far better 15-0 team than 2019 LSU

Let me know when Indiana has 17-18 guys with starts in the NFL, including a Pro Bowl quarterback, two HOF level receivers, a Pro Bowl linebacker, an All-Pro corner, and three other secondary guys starting in the NFL.

So that this insane debate about 2025 Indiana vs 2019 LSU tigers as the greatest CFB team of all time can end once and for all.
Who’s having that debate? The answer is neither..

Average age of 24, Indiana doesn’t even qualify as a college team in my book. Like a minor-league/semi-pro team. Bunch of dudes not good enough for the NFL who are just hiding out in college as long as they can.

Hey moron. The quarterbacks Indiana has faced are still in college. They faced numerous quarterbacks who will be drafted in the first round.

Maybe three guys with an NFL future. It’s no comparison.

That’s your opinion. Which means squat. According to numerous experts, they played plenty of quarterbacks who will play in the NFL
