JMO, he will be better suited to play DT if he keeps growing and gaining weight, his lateral speed leaves a lot to be desired. Getting beat to the corner by Vandy's QB.

No where near the athleticism of Clowney, maybe have more fire in his belly though.

He needs to get down to about 270-275 at his height to really excel at DE.

LOL

NO, he would be a good defensive end if he lost 25 lbs. No rush Defensive ends are 6'5 300+lbs. Just a fact

For his size, I'd say he's on the same level - isn't he around 290? But I agree, he should be on the interior. He'd be a NF type there. For our sake, I hope they keep him on the end.

ETA: He'll ultimately end up on the interior, and if he stays healthy he's got all the tools to be 1st round material.

He looks pretty quick to me. Lets also remind ourselves that he is 18 and playing in his first college football game.

See you're too easily flustered. I actually agree. He's an NFL dt.

Na. He needs to try and bulk up with muscle so he can play as a3-4 de( not athletic enough for a 3-4 outside lb)our dt in a 4-3. He doesn't need to lose weight.
