I didn't expect those numbers to be so revealing....
Derek Mason. WHo is he? Someone post a bio. TIA
How did Stanford start beating Oregon? Watch this [link=(http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/video/nfl/20130726/derek-mason-read-option-breakdown.sportsillustrated/)]VIDEO[/link]....
Geeked. Still proof and pudding....
Not sure I agree a scrappy defense is the answer. When you're playing some teams, you're just gonna give up 30. The question becomes, Can you score 30? The game's changed a lot. Maybe Stanford is proof it hasn't changed as much as I think....
I could see Pep Hamilton, with the combination of recent Stanford experience and NFL success. Still wish I were seeing Bob Stitt's name just because I'm curious how he'd do....

I'll say this on the non-German thread too. I could see Pep Hamilton because he's been at Stanford and done well in the NFL. That's pretty cool. Don't know anything else about the guy. Still wish they'd look at Bob Stitt....
I get the NFL argument. It just usually doesn't work out so well. Jim Mora has it going on -- but he was a decent NFL head coach. Most of your highly successful college coaches came from college jobs....
I don't get why you'd interview an NFL assistant, though. It really doesn't matter if the guy knows how to install some NFL scheme. What matters is whether he can build an SEC program at a school like Vandy....

re: Luke Del Rio leaving Bama.

I was wondering until I found this news report. TUSCALOOSA (BubbaGumpNews) - University of Alabama head football coach Nick Saban has announced that quarterback Luke Del Rio has been offered a medical scholarship. Del Rio practiced with the team throughout the season despite suffering from a deb...
I don't know about the signals. I do know FSU changed its strategy with the quick passing game and more tempo, and Auburn had problems after that. But it's not like FSU was just dominating the second half offensively....
It's gonna be Marshall. It has to be. Coaches value things we don't see, like the ability to organize the team and run the show under pressure. I agree that Marshall needs to improve, and I'm worried that the things he needs to improve are very challenging. He may be pretty much the same guy next...
I see State being a problem last year. I've been a huge Tre Mason supporter since he was a freshman, always thought he was special, but I don't see a big overall dropoff next year. I do worry about 3rd and 2 and the big plays he made by force of will....
Cute, but Saban observed that FSU changed their pace in the second half and didn't allow Auburn the time to set up its stunts and blitzes. I dunno. ...
Proud of Auburn. Man, this one hurts, though. Either team would have felt like it should have won....

OK, but why are the guys getting in ahead of the girls and sitting together in back?...

re: Hey Auburn, thank MS State

Auburn is pretty decent with high tech grass too. But sure, thanks. If it's better than what they have right now, thanks....

Not recommending them, but Louisville used to be that way, just smaller and without the recruiting base. I do not get the love for Orlando. Not at all....
As an Auburn fan this thread embarrasses me because (a) it's stupid and more important (b) why not enjoy the present, because it's awesome?...
