Reportedly wanted to go to BAMA until Stallings told him he'd have to cut his hair.

I remember listening to Bob in the early 1970's on AM radio in Charleston.

Man this hits hard, I was at Carolina the same years as Taneyhill. I met him at a home basketball game our freshman year and he signed under the bill of my white "COCKS" hat. I still have the hat, although his signature has long since faded away but not his legacy. Forever to Thee #18.

My favorite player from an opposing team ever.

He was 52. Seems like he spent 12 years at Carolina.

Condolences to his family and usc fans. I can’t believe he was 52 years old, it doesn’t seem that long ago.
