Dallas, Ft Worth, Oklahoma City, just for mayors, looking at city council or county government adds Knoxville into the mix. And a handful have given up on the democratic socialist crap and are moving right.

San Marcos/New Braunfels area is great to live at but that area is blowing up like crazy. Hopefully it will keep its charm 10-20 years from now.

As an Ole Miss fan, these are the venues in our league I have been to...

Mississippi State, Alabaman, Auburn, Georgia, Vandy, Tennessee, Florida, LSU, Arkansas...and Texas when we beat that arse a few years ago.

Of those, LSU is my favorite place to visit. Nothing fake about it. To me, that is old school college football. So that is destination #1 for me every other season. (Or used to be. I hate this new SEC)

I had nothing but good experiences at all the venues, but I don't go looking for trouble.
State catches a bad wrap from most OM fans, but I have a lot of friends there and I think it's a fun venue. Bama is like going to a roman coliseuam. Very nice. Auburn is not my favorite, but the fans are pretty cool. Georgia is a big ole place and I've seen the Rebs win there and lose a lot there. I have noticed a big difference in their attitudes since they started winning natties. Vandy is kinda boring, but at least it feels like a home game in the stands. Arkansas is a fun venue and honestly, if there was no LSU, I would probably pick them. Florida is a different world. The one time I went, we actually beat Tim Tebow and the Gators. That place went from insanely wild to what felt like a funeral in literally one second. Still one hell of a place to go.

I have yet to visit Kentucky, South Carolina, Mizzou, Texas A&M and now Oklahoma. Of those five I would like to visit in this order:
1. Oklahoma. All jokes aside, I'd like to experience it at least once.
2. Mizzou. I hear that stadium is something else when Mizzou is rocking.
3.South Carolina. Another stadium that I hear rocks and sways during games.
4. Kentucky. Nothing against Kentucky football, but hell man, I'd rather go to a basketball game there and I hate basketball.
5. Texas A&M. I have no desire to ever go there. Dudes in assless chaps and male cheerleaders, no thanks.

I have suggested previously that if you mention UT, specify which one by using UTA for Texas and UTK for Tennessee. I detect some arrogance on your part by assuming that UT means Texas. SEC fans heretofore would think UT meant Tennessee.

Both Texas and Tennessee are commonly referred to as UT. We're not going to use some Aggyism like UTa or TU or whatever. You guys are just going to have to rub a couple brain cells together and use context clues.

I usually use "Texas" instead of "UT," anyway. But the more you people show that it gets to you, the more I want to use UT.

Regretfully almost all major cities are run by lunatics of the left. I am losing all hope that this trend can be reversed. Also, our universities nationwide are
dominated by left-wing nut jobs. The Hamas revolt is a prime example of the total decline in academic standards where no dissent is tolerated. Some of these terrorist-loving students need to go on a permanent field trip to Iran, where they will see what true oppression really is.

Any more, education doesn’t equate to the ability to make good decisions

I got the context clues; but my point is that since mighty Texas has joined the SEC we must bow and salute. Never mind that in the old SEC we automatically equated UT as Tennessee.

I went with some of my buddies to the LSU game when they played Texas a few years ago. I wasn’t impressed at all with the stadium or tailgating or the homeless people wandering around near the campus. Austin used to be a great city, but it’s turned into a liberal shite hole. The towns west of Austin in the hill country are nice, but the area around Utx on gameday didn’t wow me at all.

All of this.

It really used to be cool.

TU was a big fish in a small pond but it’s time to come to terms with the new reality. Texas was a plus 1 to get Oklahoma. Y’all are not as important as you want to believe.

While UT is a founding member of the SEC and earned its accolades in the SEC. We don’t cry and jump conferences (read destroy conferences). We earned the moniker UT and everything east of the Mississippi UT is the University of Tennessee’s identifier. Since the SEC headquarters is based east of the Mississippi everything SEC related (ie this SEC forum) has UT identifying the university of Tennessee.

Pick UTx or UTa or TU, or dildo U, or horns or anything not already trademarked and learn your role.
