Tua accuracy is much better, but Lawrence's size makes him a more appealing Pro prospect. You can improve accuracy, speed and strength, but you can not do anything about height.

A healthy Tua.

The Lawrence hype will reach new levels of hysteria next year as Clemson steamrolls the ACC again. Notre Dame rotates to their schedule because the ND-ACC tie-in but other than that it's clear sailing.

Tua is a glass cannon and I take no joy in saying that. Put him behind an elite line in the NFL and I'd take him over Lawrence.

Otherwise, give me the hippie.

I would take Lawrence long term. I don't believe we have seen his best.

Lawrence played like one good game and they crowned him. Without the 6 foot 6 frame and the blonde hair I question whether he would even be hyped.

Lawrence. Tua stays hurt and his team was embarrassed by Lawrence's. No matter who Clemson plays he still plays good in the big games a majority of the time. He had a bad game against LSU but still a better overall QB than Tua and not injury prone.

Tua played 1 good half in 2017. Last year he didn't play anyone and had to have Hurts bail him out in the SECCG and then he lost the NCG. With their schedule and considering how good the WRs are supposed to be he hasn't proven he isnt all hype. His biggest game was against UGA in 2017 who Stidham blew out.

Accuracy is the most important key for a good QB. Tua is as accurate as any QB can be and for that reason, Tua is better than Trevor.

Trevor had a good game against Bama, destroyed weak teams the last 2 seasons, then was able to use his athletic skills to beat Ohio State. That’s all he has done. He hasn’t proven to me that he’s a better QB than Tua

Unless Tua can play in a wheelchair then it doesn't matter how accurate he is. Being injury prone trumps anything good you can do for a couple games a season before you get hurt.

It's going to be fun to read the comments when Tua is a success in the NFL. I'm confident he will be just that.

Lawrence is still more hype than anything else, but I'd take him over Tua because of injuries.

Guy just completed his TSoph season and folks wanna compare him to Burrow a guy that's already 23 yrs old and Tua that has played 3 full seasons

TLaw has a lot of development left in him

For all the bragging about Burrow, he's a few months older than Lamar Jackson of the Ravens, after Burrow gets to the NFL, he won't be improving by leaps & bounds

TLaw likely has more upside than the most recent slate of Top QBs:

Eason
Burrow
Fields
Hurts
Tua
Herbert

Fields is better and when healthy can do what Lawrence can do but better.

But, I do agree with you about age and maturity especially at the QB position. I feel the same about comparing Tua to Burrow. Tua accomplished everything Burrow did except winning a Heisman in 3 seasons at Bama while it took Burrow 5 seasons at two different schools and different coaching staffs to accomplish the same.

Tua is better

Lawrence is a lot like Jalen Hurts. Plenty good enough to beat non elite teams, doesn't turn the ball over much, can kill you with his legs, mature, but lacks elite level accuracy

Tua has no weaknesses besides durability

Tua has had better position coaching (IMO) and plays against much better competition. In fact, he faced serious competition for job that Lawrence did not. As a result of these factors Tua is the better player at this point.
