Why not be like LSU and be good at all? Minus basketball which I wish we’d improve in that aspect. Football is awesome and all, but I find it much more gratifying to follow other sports than worry about some 5 star visiting because there’s nothing else to talk about at this time in regards to football.

Honestly, I am going to go with probably "yes" Just based on cumulative attendance to events of all other sports combined for a given year to about 2.5 home games in football.

That is just what I came up with thinking about for 30 seconds.

How is it that the first SEC fanbase to have a national championship in baseball seems to loathe the sport most? Wtf Georgia fans?

I enjoyed this World Series because it’ll be the last that somewhat resembles the college baseball I grew up loving.

I have no interest in watching a bunch of hired players poached from other schools and that’s all college baseball will be amongst the top schools starting next year. Who knows, maybe the average sports fan will love the accumulation of talent to a few top SEC schools, but parity is what grew my love for the game and that will be gone.

Winning the national championship with a bunch of NIL portal players will be like the Yankees or Dodgers winning the World Series in the MLB. Will their fan bases be thrilled, sure and rightfully so. But don’t ask anyone to be impressed. When you spend that kind of money anything less than a championship is a failure. It’s why I take so much joy in watching the big market teams get knocked out of the playoffs in the MLB.
